MBS Findings: Monday May 25, 2009

This weekend was pretty good. I had alot of stuff to get for the birthday party so we went to alot of stores. The Dora party is now a Mickey Mouse party. The cake is ordered thank goodness they had an opening. We also had to go get our seeds to start planting them in cups. We have onions, cucumbers, okra, turnips, canalope, bell peppers, banana peppers, and we will plant the green beans straight into the ground next weekend. Sunday of course. We now also have a blue berry bush, and 4 banana trees. A couple of weeks ago my mom gave me a potato that was starting to sprout so I stuck it on the side of our house in the mud and was very surprised to see it is growing. Maybe I have a green thumb after all. I counted 14 pods on my red beans plant we will have a total of 56 beans when we pick them next week. We will probably go ahead and plant them. So we can get a whole pot. Its so fun to see what will come out of what you plant and the kids are involved so they will be excited to see what they are growing. Sunday I went to CVS also to grab my deals. I still can not find those Marcal paper towels and toilet paper to go with my free coupons. They expire this weekend. Anyway this is my CVS trip.

CVS Total Savings according to receipt $22.20 my total out of pocket $5.42 got back $11.99 ECB.
I didn't have any ECB to spend. So I started off like this.

2 Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 55 Dry Touch Sun Block in the 1oz tube for $1.99 each.
with tax it came out to be $4.33 then I got $10 ECB for buying 2 neutrogena sun care products.

Revlon Nail Polish $3.99 -$1MFQ=$2.99 got back $3ECB
Playtex Gentle Glide 18ct 3.99-$1MFQ=2.99 got back $3ECB
Colgate total advanced white $2.99-$1MFQ=$1.99 got back $2ECB
Clearasil $3.99-$2 ECB=$1.99 got back $3.99ECB
Hefty One Zip bags were in the dollar section only 8ct in the small bags and 6ct in the bigger bags but I had $1MFQ so those were free.
I bought the candy as a filler which was only .99cents.
Used the $10 ECB I got from the first transaction and my out of pocket came out to be $1.09 and that was including tax. It was a good day for me.
