Today I had to go to walgreens b/c my RR were expiring. They really didn't have much that I was wanting but I went anyway and came out with a really good deal. This is my trip.
Total out of pocket: $2.58 total saved $23.76

Honey Nut Cheerios was on sale for $1.99 used $1MFQ=.99
3 Campbells soups were .99 each with in store ad coupon -$1.50MFQ= 1.47/3=.49 each
2 Glade Candles were on sale 2/$4.00 but since it wasn't ringing up right manager told cashier to ring it up for $1.50 each used $3 MFQ got back $1 RR
Since I was buying the candle I used the coupon for a free pack of refills when you buy the candle those were $3.99 got those for free.
I also bought a bottle of sprite so no coupons would beep since I also used a RR.
The rule is that you have to have equal the items to the coupons so I didn't want to push it. I am very happy with the out come of my trip.
I also went to CVS today. They had pull ups on sale 8.97 each. I purchased 3 packs used 3-$3MFQ and $9.79 ECB. Total before coupons $26.91 after coupons $10.47/3=3.49 each. I can't beat that. Awesome trip. I also got a $2 off huggies wipes cvs q and I have .50 MFQ. So hopefully they will have a sale soon and I can grab one of those packs.
I also stopped at Family Dollar but nothing to brag about. I had some coupons that were expiring so I went to see if I could find any good deals. The only thing I got was some pantiliners for free. We needed bread so I just picked that up while there and Sara found some cookies she wanted.

If you like watching 90210 set your DVR's tonight the new season starts. Today I will drop off Katie and head back home. There isn't anything for me to do at school. I will be able to catch up on things that I have been getting behind on. Like my coupons. They need to be clipped and filed and I have piles of expired ones. Couponing is alot of work but is so worth it when you get money off of your bill.

Today was a pretty busy day. I can't wait til the weekend. We took pictures today for the school yearbook. Which means everyone in the school takes the picture. Since 5 of us that were helping are PTO board we were able to get an id which will be so much more nice then always having to bring back the passes that we get from the office. Bad news is I am so pasty I blend in with the background rofl. So besides a diet from eating all those goodies I've been baking, I really do need to spend sometime in the sun. I just wish there wasn't so many bugs and it wasn't so hot. Oh well I guess I will just have to stay pasty. Tomorrow I will be at the parenting center again so I am posting now.

Last night Katie cried to me again that she doesn't want to go to school. It breaks my heart when she does that. I try and tell her how much fun she will have and it will get better over time. I like to hear about her day but you can't go up to a preschooler and say what you did today. You have to ask about every little thing. I asked her if she talked to her friends b/c this is suppose to teach them how to socialize. She said yes but the teacher is always telling them to be quiet. So I asked her if she has ever been put in time out and she said no but the teacher asked her today if she wanted to be in time out for talking. ??? So when do they get a chance to socialize? For breakfast and lunch as soon as they finish eating they have to put their heads down. I'm still not sure if this was the right thing for us.

I was in the middle of this post yesterday when our computer crashed. Alittle monster was under the desk pulling the wires. Anyway 9-1-09 made 14 years Sammy and I have been together as a couple. I was only 16 and he was 18. I wish I was that skinny again and can you believe I use to think I was fat then lol. Time flies by thats for sure.

Today was a bit harder to drop Katie off at school. I wasn't volunteering today so I came straight home and it feels funny being here without her. She also has a little sinus cold and didnt' want to go to school. If you don't meet the amount of days that is required you could get kicked out of the program. So I sent her to school to spread her germs to the other kids. I know I am so nice but thats the way the school board wants it not me. If it was up to me I would of kept her home. Not like they are learning anything yet.

I am so excited about my garden after months of waiting it is starting to produce stuff. Hubby said there are alot coming out. We love cucumbers, the okra are taking a bit longer and the cantaloupe are growing really nice.











This was my project yesterday. I think next time I will try a different recipe. This one I had to make bread dough and it wasn't what I was really looking for. They are still yummy and of course I trusted my $3.50 pan again and it over cooked some more then I wanted them to be. Not burning them but they were crispy on the outer layer.

Today was my baby girls first day of school. She looked so cute with her uniform and her backpack that is as big as her. She was so excited and loved it. I held it together and got a little teary eye when she was getting out of the car. She followed the teacher to her class and I was able to see her walk with her class to breakfast and while they were outside for snack time. What did she say they did today when asked? Nothing lol I had to ask her a question about everything to get an answer. She said she has a friend but does not know what her name is. She has been jumping off the walls since she got home. She even lost a button off of her skorts.

I had fun yesterday at walgreens. I think they are finally starting to get some good deals. The huggies wipes are only .99 with their in store coupon for $2 off. It will only last until the end of this month. The boxes of rice krispies were only .50 each. Tape was .16 each the planters trail mix which are really yummy were .49 each. I needed the envelope to mail something but after coupon it came out to be .69 the benadryl spray was .49 each and the drink was extra to give to the kids. I did 3 transactions and I am sure they were ready for me to leave after that lol. I hope they keep the deals coming.

While I was out yesterday looking everywhere for a clear backpack that no stores had. I went to office max. After a long day of trying to find one I was getting this one even though it said it was $49.99-25%. I got to the register and it rang up 10.50 and gave 2.50 off so it was a good deal. I also was able to pick up construction paper in a pack for only $2 were at walmart the only pack I could find was $5. I love finding hidden deals.

Ok I don't have much time b/c today is orientation for school. I remember when I first started school my mom was able to come with me on campus and stood there for a while which wasnt' long. Now you can't do that. You have to drop your child off at the gate and someone takes them to where they are suppose to go. Tomorrow I will be volunteering so I will be able to go check on her and also bring her school supplies to the class. Not sure how they expect them to carry all of that unless a parent brings it. I plan to be there often volunteering in the parenting center or the classroom. Hopefully I can hold it together until she gets out of the car lol.

After doing a search I found this nice website allrecipes.com for lunch box ideas. They even tell how to keep it warm or cold. I love the idea for the hot dog. Very smart but I wouldnt' do it just yet maybe when she gets a little older. I will still pack hot dog just trying to figure out how to keep it warm and still where it won't make her sick from eating it. Check this one out Hilbillyhousewife.com.
I am pretty much finished school shopping. I need to find construction paper , large safety pins, and a backpack and thats it. I still need to go to walgreens this week so maybe I will have some luck there. I went to family dollar and used the coupons that I printed out a couple of weeks back. The softsoap was $1.60 - $1.00 coupon=.60 so that was a good deal and it was a good size bottle. 2 of those were on her list. I found a Hannah Montana lunch bag for only $6.35 it was cheaper then the plan ones at walmart. I'm still looking for ideas for the lunch box. If you have any put under comments please. It will be very helpful. Katie is very excited to go to school. After coming home and showing her the lunch bag and all her supplies she started jumping up and down saying how excited she is. It was too cute.
