I went to walgreens yesterday to get their diaper deal. I couldn't wait to feel them to see if they were like parent choice or more like huggies. I find they are more like huggies without the huge price tag. They are on sale this week BOGO and there are coupons at the pharmacy if you ask about the prescription savings club. $2/1 coupons which are really nice. After I run out of diapers I think I may try their training pants. Anyway I used only 1 coupon and both cashier and manager had no idea the pharmacy even had them so they took my diaper coupon. I will just have to get another one next time I go in. I also used a $6 RR so my total for 2 jumbo packs of diapers was $2.15. Which makes the diapers really nice. The diapers leaked, so I will use them during the day and huggies at night. :{On with the show.

This is cute so I thought I would share:

The Mama Test I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that. 'Why?' my daughter asked. 'Because it's been on the ground, you don't know where it's been, it's dirty, and probably has germs' I replied. At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and asked, 'Mama, how do you know all this stuff, you are so smart.' I was thinking quickly. 'All moms know this stuff. It's on the Mama Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mama.' We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information. 'OH...I get it!' she beamed, 'So if you don't pass the test you have to be the dad. ''Exactly' I replied back with a big smile on my face

I hope everyone had a nice relaxing and wonderful mothers day. Mine was really nice. I got a ring, some fried dumplings, boiled crawfish and time with my family. I even got my whole family to play Boogie Superstar so we all got a good laugh also. Too funny. Anyway. This week is another busy week. There are some nice coupons at coupons.com. The Kraft salad dressing is $1 off at walmart the salad dressing should still be $1.58 a bottle so you would only pay .58 cents. The kraft BBQ sauce $1 off at walmart its only .98 cents Winn Dixie until Wednesday is only .88 cents. Don't forget to print 2 of each. Hopefully you guys did print the coupons for the cereal last week which will only make them $1 at CVS this week. Limit of 4 is the bad thing. On with it then.

My favorite time of day is early in the morning when everyone else is still asleep. This week has been so exhausting for me. Fighting with the girls everyday just to get ready. Being a Stay at home mom is very hard. Yesterday was a crazy day. I left early to go drop off our newspaper at the recycling center. I don't get any just me time to go dig so I park the car in front of the dumpster and have the kids watch a movie and eat a snack. I just move the papers around on the top. I wouldn't dare get in there. After that we went to CVS and I loaded up on the coke deal but he had to ring them up one at a time so it took forever. We don't drink coke very often but I had to stock up for the girls birthday parties. Of course I will need more. Which I will pick up next week. Here's my items and how I did.
CVS out of pocket $20.84 saved $30.41 and I got $15.00 ECB


3 boxes frosted mini wheats sale was 3/$10 get back $5 ECB. I used 1 BOGO Q and 1 $1 off Q.
math:$10-3.10Q-1Q=5.90-$5 ECB =.90 for 3 boxes of cereal .30 cents each
6 12 packs of coke products sale was $4 each limit of 6. spend $20 get back $10ECB. I used 6 $1Q.
Math: $24-$6Q=$18-$10 ECB=$8/6= $1.33 each
The pretzels weren't on the list but the girls wanted them and they were $2.98. For putting up with all my shopping they deserve it. Not too bad. This sale is still going on so get over there.
