Sleep now a days is so hard for me. My daughter has been sick for about a month now. She has a sinus drip and it makes her throw up often. Even when she isn't throwing up I have dreams that she threw up on me so I wake up trying to figure out where she threw up at. Anyway. I found this awesome site I wanted to share with you guys. Front page freebies she post everyday. Yep unlike me and she post contact information for companies. I have been following her for about a week now and contacting all the companies she post. It makes it so easy b/c she is keeping track of who and finding it for me. I was also able to get a free veggietale dvd for my kids for free and other great deals. So check her out.

Busy day today. Piggly Wiggly is running a sale. Their meat deal is usually pick 5 for $19.99. Well today its pick 6 for the same price. Also their cornish hens are 2.50 each and their chickens are .79lb. I hope there are also some good sales on their produce. We will see. They open at 7am so this will give me a chance to get the girls up and ready like its a school day. School starts Monday. I am back to couponing. Its a bit harder this time around but I am making it work and teaching my littest one we don't eat coupons.

This is an awesome site for some yummy chex mix recipes. I made a mix for the kids once with chocolate and peanut butter coated with powdered sugar. I ate more then they did.
My kids are really picky with their food so I am always on the hunt for something that they may like. I found this recipe for French Dip Sandwiches. It seems easy and they should like it minus the onions. To hide the onions I will put it in a food processor. It still has the flavor and they don't know they are eating them. I will also double the recipe b/c it says it only makes 4 sandwiches and I want leftovers.

Already April. Where is this year going? It looks like we may have some April showers today. Lets see whats going on. This weekend my hubby decided to take me out for our 11 year anniversary which is not until Friday but with his work schedule next weekend we wouldn't of been able to go anywhere. We went to Bravo's. Last time we went I wasn't impressed and this time I'm still not hooked on the place. I ordered the calamari it was ok but not the best I ever had. I actually sat there and peeled the fried stuff of and just ate the calamari by itself. Then I had a salad and the soup of the day was creamy asparagus it was like eating baby food. Emma didn't like it either but then again she doesn't eat baby food. She rather eat off of our plate. Then we went to the mall to find me a ring. I wasn't finding the one I really wanted. I wanted something white gold and plan and simple but the girl said they didn't really have anything like that. I did find one that matched my bracelet that he just bought me for Valentines day so I guess it worked out. My mom ordered me a mini loaf pan and gave it to me already. I am so excited and not sure what I want to make in it yet. So many different ideas are running through my head. Today I am going to try and make it to Kid to Kid our local consignment shop. They are giving 30% store credit on items that are given. I have a big bag and a basket full of clothes and shoes. I also want to look for a bow for Katies hair for her graduation. I may do flowers instead. Haven't decided yet. I like to check out other things they have in there. Sometimes you can find a good deal. Our netflix movie this weekend was Nanny McPhee Returns. The girls loved it and want to put it on their wish list. Its a cute movie. Our next movie will be Legend of the Guardians. We are wait listed for Tangled and Jackass 3. Tangled might be in their Easter basket. Its another one on their wish list. I seen a cute little skirt that I would love to get for Sara for her to wear for her birthday. She is such a girly girly and loves to be dressed up. The mom whos little girl I seen it on said she got it from Target last year. So now I am on the hunt for that.

Where to start? I'm still sick since I can't take much of anything. We woke up to water in my middle bathroom and kitchen due to a busted water heater on Friday. That was a full day there but then my mom started a new job and alot of her work will be done at home so her stuff started coming in and I helped her put everything in its place. Trying to figure out where things can be set up. That was 13 boxes of fun.

We recently watched Legion on the netflix instant watch and it was a very interesting movie. End of the world movie where God doesnt' think there is enough good to continue human kind living so he sends his angels to kill everyone. One angel works against the others to save a baby because he needed to show God there is still some good in this world. Pretty good movie but too scarey for the kids.

We also watched the movie Jackass 2.5. It was a pretty gross movie. Not sure why people think it is so funny to watch grown men take a crap. Also throwing up. Not a movie I would recommend to anyone especially those with a weak stomach.

With my mom starting a new job she has to learn the body's anatomy and I sent this anatomy arcade to her to make it fun. Maybe it will make it a little easier to learn and I will put it up on the kids account when they need to learn it.

Yesterday my mom and I went shopping for Katies Kindergarten graduation dress. Since its before easter we figured it would be easier to find one now instead of later. We went to alot of stores before finally finding alot in her size at burlington. We were able to find a Ruby Rox light pink dress for only $20. Its just like the picture except its light pink. Now we need to find shoes and a bow for her hair. Its so cute and grown up.

We stopped at Target and found these cute shoes for Sara. They were $14.99. I wish they would of had Katies size but we only found up to size 11 in the store. Online only has up to 9.

I am trying to get together little white dresses for the girls and white shirts for Sammy and I to go take some really good professional pictures at city park. I have a certain way I want it to look in my head and trying to find the girls the dresses seems to be the hardest part. Then I have to get my hair cut and I want everything done before it starts getting too hot. So many small details to go into just trying to get family pictures done. I did find Katies dress so 1 down 2 to go.

Already Monday. Katie will be going to school today but it will be hard for me to get there this week. Which is not a good thing b/c we have a book fair this week and no parents ever show up to help even if its to walk their own kid around. I have 2 sick little girls and myself to worry about. I didn't even get a packet to go over with Katie what she would like to buy. This will be one of her gifts for making all A's on her report card. Yesterday since we were resting I was able to finish reading my book.

Lost recipe for Happiness. Very good book. A plus with all of the recipes inside. I haven't tried any of them yet but the churros might be one that I do try. Its about a woman named Elena who was in a car accident when she was younger the only one who survived. The ones that she had lost come and visit her through out the book. In a good way not haunting her. More of encouragement. Shes a chef and just been fired from her job b/c an article was written about her instead of the head chef. As she is walking out of the restaurant the owner Julian is pulling up. Takes her to breakfast to talk about her becoming the head chef of a restaurant that he just purchased. She agrees and moves to Aspen. It takes a while for the restaurant to open with all the details that have to be set. During this Elena and Julian fall in love but b/c of her past she is having trouble letting him into her heart. In the end one of the good chefs gets in a bad car accident and brings up past. She finally goes to the place where the accident happen to let it go. When she comes back she is then ready to let Julian in. The book ends with a recipe for Mexican wedding cookies which I would love to try. So the read is left to think that they did get married.

We didn't feel like cooking so hubby decided to just order pizza. I was not crazy for dominos before but like the commercial kept saying they have changed. It was super easy to order. I didn't even call them. I went online to their website dominos.com . I put in our zipcode and started our order. I built the pizza how I wanted which was extra pepperoni. The deal was 2 medium 2 topping pizza's for $5.99 each. I also got chicken wings 8 for $5.99. I was impressed with the taste of the pizza not so much with the wings. They pour a whole bottle of sauce on 8 wings way too much. After I placed the order they have a little tacker to tell you wants going on with your pizza. I thought was pretty neat. Next time you order try it through their website.

The whole family is now sick. Hate when that happens. Hubby is in bed trying to sleep it off while I try and keep the kids quiet.

Yesterday we tried to take the kids to the zoo for the earth fest. It was so busy we could not find a parking spot.

I really wanted to buy the John ette Downing book and CD Today is Monday in Louisiana.

So we decided to take the girls to Destrahan Plantation. Fun to learn how and where people lived back in the old days. Could you imagine taking 1 bath once a year and in this order? Dad, Mom and then oldest to youngest child in the same bath water? Dinner being a 2 1/2 hour event where everyone dressed up in their finest and you had to be at least 11 years old to eat with your parents. Then at 14 you had to move out. Married men and women slept in different rooms and if the husband wanted to get with the wife he would have to write and send it to the wife and wait to be invited into her bedroom. Of course my kids didn't know what they were talking about but they did like looking at the things. Never too old to learn something new or something old in that case. Makes you think about how different life was back then.

On the way home we found a meat store right across the river called Emmet's. We purchased an artichoke stuffed chicken for $12 and want to try that out this week. Nice to have a place alittle closer then the butcher block which has moved farther away.

After that we decided it was time to come home and rest while watching movies on our netflix account through our xbox which is really awesome. It is so worth having when you like watching movies.

We watched Queen of the Damned I know an old movie but it was still nice to watch. Its about vampires and a girl wanted to be a vampire who also grew up around vampires. Of course in the end she gets her wish and is turned into a vampire.

Then Happily N'ever after 2 for the girls. It was a cute movie. Teaching the girls how its not just whats on the outside but what is on the inside. Its good to be nice to others. Did it help them change of course not but for them to see how things turn out when people are mean and then the difference you can make when you are nice. Its worth watching.

Since we are sick we decided to order some soup from Chan's Far East. 2 x-large wonton soups, comb fried rice and crab ragoons. It was very yummy and made us feel a bit better. Now its time to go rest talk to you tomorrow.

My daughter who is 5 and in kindergarten got all A's on her report card. I am very proud of her. I remember when I was in kindergarten I was just learning my ABC's and now a days they should already know them. She can read which is super awesome. She reads signs while driving on the road or tv shows that we watch and gets excited about it. She is realizing that she can also read most of the books that is on her bookshelf. Great job Katie, keep up the good work.

I spend way too much time on facebook now a days. Cafe world is my new thing. Its easy to sit at the computer while feeding and putting to sleep my little one. I just got an email from bzzagent. I haven't been on there since 2009. Which is pretty bad. I don't even check my email much anymore. One day I will be able to come back to the blog full time. Until then I hope everyone if anyone still reads this is having a blessed life.

This week went by pretty fast. I spent pretty much all day Thursday trying to catch up on clothes. After 5 batches there was still a basket full. Of course I had a bag of hand me downs to wash and blankets off our bed. Can you really ever catch up with 5 people in the house? At the end of the day there is enough clothes to wash 1 batch on a good day. So I will still stick to washing at least 1 batch if not more a day.

I can't wait to see A Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey. I would like to buy the DVD right now there is a coupon for $10 off the blu-ray set. Here I will probably buy it on black Friday. I am sure they will have a deal somewhere on it.

Every year I get some pretty good deals at halfpricemall. Its local deals but you can check out your local radio station to see if they offer anything. They have a new one every Friday. I don't see anything really jumping out at me just yet.

Also WWLTV is also offering a deal once a week on different local restaurants to try out. Why not buy it at a discounted rate? This week they are offering Flaming Torch a $50 gift card for $25. Before purchasing any of these deals make sure you read all the fine print. Some have restrictions. Only can use them on certain days or before a certain time.

Hubby says I don't need a notebook but how easy would it be to have all my recipes right next to me while cooking or to be able to read these free books at night when I can't sleep. Or even if I could do things while sitting in the carpool line waiting for my daughter to get out of school. So many things to do. Anyway here is a free book Safely Home by Randy Alcorn. Catch up

Wow I really have not been on here forever. Well I had the baby on July 22, 2010. Her name is Emma Isabelle. She weighted 7lbs 15.2 oz. She is already 3 months old now. Everything is going well. I did have to get myself in a routine. Very different with 3 little ones. Katie is now 5 and in Kindergarten. Sara is 3 and we are trying to get her out of sucking her thumb with the no bite nail polish. Today is day 3 using it. Last night she decided to put her other thumb in her mouth. Katie's asthma is alot more controlled this year with the meds that she is on. Of course when she gets sick it acts up and she has to do treatments. I did find out that when she coughs the mucus up and swallows it back down is what is making her throw up. So I try to tell her to start spitting it out from now on. Emma is sick with her first cold that she caught from her bigger sisters. She has been coughing for 3 weeks now. The nose spray doesn't really help so today I decided to try some lemon juice with a little sugar and water. So far she is keeping it down so thats a good sign. I did read that lemon juice also helps with asthma also. By taking a teaspoon before each meal and right before going to sleep at night. Hey its worth a try. I rather give her that then all the meds they want to put in her. So next time she is sick thats what I will do.

I'm starting to get bored just sitting at home. Hopefully I don't go too crazy. I really need to stay off my feet or I am in more pain then ever. I am looking forward to my dr's appointment on Thursday. For 1 to get out of the house and 2 maybe to have the baby that day. lol thats kind of sad. With nothing much left to do, I have a lot of time to browse the internet.

Almost there. I'm 37 weeks and 3 days today which was when I had my second daughter. I try not to complain too much but I do have a very long list of things that I am going through. Dr told me that now I am tired of being pregnant. Umm where have you been? I have been tired of being pregnant months ago. I don't tell my dr everything that I am going through everytime I go in. I've told her once why would I think she would keep wanting to listen to the samethings over and over again. Chocolate has been my best friend. It gets me through some hard times. lol I just love when people say your almost there.
School is not too far away. What sucks is I dont' think I will be able to drive my daughter when she starts school :'(. I just have to be there somehow. I think we are pretty ready. I lucked out and found her skorts at the family dollar. 3 pair came up to $21 can't beat that. Her pants I was able to find at walmart. They are really long so I do need to hem them. I will wait until it gets closer to the time to start wearing pants. Its so hot here I dont' think that will anytime soon.
I do have to say I am excited today b/c I was able to turn in some swagbucks today and order another amazon.com card.

Wow what a busy week. Yesterday we went to check out the new Twilight saga movie Eclipse. Very good movie and of course I want to read the whole thing again and watch the movies all over and can not wait until the next movie comes out. Once all the dvd's come out I want all of them.
Katie's birthday party is this weekend so I have to get ready for that. I was giving her a pool party at my moms but the pool decided it had enough and busted. It did last for a long time though. So we will have a mini waterpark kind of thing. We will have some small pools, sprinkler, slip n slide. It should still be fun.
Besides that our week is filled with dr's appointments, shopping for school uniforms, washing clothes and still trying to get everything ready for baby. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe 4th of July weekend. Please don't drink and drive. There are alot of good sales out there.

I purchased a bag of apples for only $1 something sorry can't remember how much change but it was a good deal. From Budget Saver on Lapalco and Barataria. They also had 10lbs of potatoes for only $1.50. I decided to make some apple brownies with some. They came out pretty good. They are really yummy with coffee. I still have alot more apples so I might start looking for something else to make. Hubby keeps asking for apple pie so you never know.

Snapfish is having a really good deal and I think I might load my pictures to start getting some prints. You can get 99 prints for only .99 cents using coupon code JULY99PENNY at check out. Not sure how much shipping would be. Or you can pick up your pictures at a walgreens or walmart and I'm sure they dont' charge shipping for those places. Offer ends July 11 so hurry.

I ordered deluxe Hooked on Spanish for the girls using my amazon gift cards that I won from swagbucks. I had to pay $11.99 more but its was an awesome deal. So far its pretty good. We just started the first lessons. The cd-rom that came with it was very easy to install and the girls typed in their name so they can go back to where they left off. Katie already knows how to count in spanish thanks to her pre-k teachers but for them to review it keeps it fresh in her mind.

Today Old Navy has their flip flops on sale for only $1. If you want some you better get there when those doors open. I'm sure they will sell out fast. The limit is 5 per customer.

Already Friday. We haven't really done much this week. We went to the dentist and that is the only time and day we have gotten out of the house. Its horrible. The rain stopped us once. Sara is now running fever so I don't think we will be doing too much. Next week we do have to go to the library to return some books so hopefully there will be one day thats not too hot. Also have a repair guy coming out for the dishwasher for that recalled part and I have a dr's appointment. Katie's birthday is right around the corner and we need to get the ball rolling on that.

Today I had an email from Toddler Toddler and it gave me an idea to use for Katie to see on a detailed map where she lives. I have been trying to get her to remember her address. She has the house number, city and state which is really good but for her to see it would be so much better. Goggle maps are awesome. The satellite image shows the top of our house and she will be able to see how to get to school and relatives that live around us. Also the main road near our house she can walk on it by using the satellite image. Really cool and I do plan to use that today.

I guess its a good thing for some people. Hubby has to work Saturday so thats not that great. Good for the money but bad for the stuff that needs to be done around the house. Girls have gymnastics today. Its nice but sitting around for 2 hours smelling stinky feet isn't that great. Ever notice that the skating rink and gymnastics gym smell that way? The funny part about it is the gymnastics place use to sell candles. One good thing about hubby working Saturday it will give us time to get his shirt done for fathers day. I think we agreed on the shirt that says Daddy of 3 since he will be soon and I'll let the girls do their hands on the back. We will just have to add little ones hands when she comes out. Ok enough about me lets see some good stuff.

Today I am taking the girls to a class offered at the hospital to learn what they can and can not do to help when baby gets here. Sad but I have to save my energy for that or I will be in a lot of pain later. I almost started this off complaining about my husband who would rather wake up an hour earlier to go to the gym instead of sleeping and using his energy to put my house back together. Today was a pretty good day. I washed 1 batch of clothes. Yep still have a huge pile to wash but at least I got 1 done. Made pizzas with the girls. We like to buy the pizza crust already made but its fun to put all the toppings on it and we really enjoy that type of pizza more then ordering out. I also did a project with the girls. I traced their feet on a piece of paper and cut out shoes from magazines for them to glue on their feets using a paint brush with some papermache glue made it more fun. Sara put every shoe she could fit on her paper and Katie stood inside the lines with hers.

All donors will receive a Saints/Blood Bank T-shirt and be entered into a drawing for two tickets to the Saints vs. Minnesota Vikings game at the Superdome on September 9. The drawing will be held Wednesday, September 1. The winner will be notified by phone. Donors also get a mini physical, cholesterol test, blood type and blood assurance package. The first day of summer. Not much planned today. I have to finish working on Sara's pinata for her birthday. I didn't like any of the pinata's at the store and couldn't understand why they were charging so much for something that will be bashed in. Of course I decided to make one that is bigger. It wouldn't of been too bad an idea if I would of had more time but I only have a week to do it and it seems like its taken forever to turn hard. With the party being tomorrow I'm starting to freak out.
With me being tired and pregnant still I haven't really been into couponing. Yes I miss it. The rush I get when I get an awesome deal. I just don't feel like dealing with that right now.
Katie graduated from pre-k this Tuesday. I had tears in my eyes when she was up on stage singing. We picked the perfect spot to sit b/c she sat right in front of us. After we went eat at McDonald's her pick and went shopping at walmart with my mom, mother in law and sister in law. They bought her alot of stuff for just graduating pre-k. Last week I found out her classroom has mold and a mushroom was growing in it. The teacher kept filing reports but they wouldnt' do anything about it so I went and told the vice principal about it. All the health problems she has been having may have been caused by the mold she was breathing in for the past 10 months.
This summer I made out a list of the local libraries and what they had planned on different days. We won't go to everything but at least 1 thing a week. Next Tuesday they will have a magic show. Being free of charge I think its nice to have something to do and only have to worry about gas money to get us there. I also want to sign them up for the reading program there. As soon as you sign up you get some free stuff. It starts from birth and up. They offer different programs for different age groups so just check your library. Don't forget to check out your other local bookstores for things to do. Barnes and Noble have different things going on and also they offer a program to earn a free book for reading.

I also checked out when Michaels The Knack will have activities. Alot of them you have to buy the shirts or mugs for the kids to paint on but the mess is not at my house and I like that. They also supply the paint and things to work with so I am game. There are alot of things next month to do for Dad and with fathers day being right there its perfect.

Ok ok I know I don't post enough and I am sure no one reads this anymore. Its like I'm talking to myself lol. I do it all the time and you know you do also. Today marks the beginning of my third trimester. Woohoo almost there. I want my body back and my energy back. I get so out of breath and am in so much pain even after just passing a mop on the floor. It bugs me so much when my kids feet are black. Today I woke up and took a shower and I swear the water smelled funny. I told hubby and watched the news and they say its not to us but then my daughter was brushing her teeth and said the water smelled funny also. So maybe I'm not going crazy after all. It did start giving me a headache while I was in there. While brushing my daughters hair she loves watching the baby move in my belly and I said look I look like santa when I laugh. She started laughing then I couldn't stop laughing. I love the sound of her laugh its so funny and contagious. With our new wood floors in I requested for mothers day those fluffy pink slipper flip flops lol. I just dont' know where to tell hubby they are. I don't shop very often anymore and have not been really looking for them but I would love to have these for the hospital also.

Ok I noticed that my swagbucks was going up even when I wasn't using it and I getting some awesome points while using it so I decided to put it as my homepage. Wow 2 days in the same week, its going to rain. I decided to use my disney movie rewards to buy some pictures. You get 30 pictures for 300 points. I want to get started scrapbooking again even if I have to do 2 pages a week.

Wow its been forever since I was on here. I have a full week off this week with nothing much to do but housework. Just mopped and taking a break. We pulled up all the carpet in our house and decided to paint the walls also. So when I say mop its my whole house not just the kitchen. Katie's asthma is still bad. This week its acting up more then normal. Just in case you wanted to know we are having another girl. I think more people are disspointed then we are. I'm just happy she is healthy and wish I could come up with a cute name for her. After naming 2 other little girls its hard to name the third when you can't agree on a name. My newspaper subscription has run out. I don't seem to have time to go through it anyway but I do miss getting the deals. Once baby comes and things are back to normal then I will see about renewing my subscription. Hopefully by then the deals will be better since the economy seems to be getting back on its feet a bit. I noticed even samples are hard to come by now a days. Well on with the good stuff.

Found this neat little site called Worksheet library with a couple of free downloads to use. With summer coming up I will have to be ready to keep my childs minds in work mode. Not many people can say their 2 year old can say their ABC's spell her name and her sisters name and recognize them on paper. I know I am never on here anymore. Even though I am now in my second trimester I still get tired pretty easily. I love naps. Sara is starting to sleep on her own which is helping me b/c I sleep better at night now, without little feet kicking me in the back. We decided that our carpet in the house needs to come up. Katie has been having trouble with her asthma and we hope with the carpet being up it will help not to trigger any attacks. Next month we find out if its a boy/girl. If he is a boy then we have lots to do. I only have pink clothes left from the girls. I plan to take the clothes to the store kid to kid consignment shop. They are picky about alot of the clothes they take but it will help for them just to take some and have a store credit toward the things that I do need.

With us having to pull up the carpet and paint the walls b/c I have been wanting to and why not since the carpet and all the furniture will be out of the room. I need to figure out a way to earn and save some money. My coupon book is a bit behind and with the economy the way it is its hard to find the deals as easy as it was before. I do need to get some ink in my printer b/c it seems like a lot of the awesome deals you would need to print the coupons out for. I have been spending sometime on mylot even though it take a while to add up the money on the site it pays once you get to $10 mark. I also have been trying to keep up with youdata every week. Its only about .10 cents a week but it adds up.

With it being the last weekend of the month I have a ton of coupons that are expiring and I really hate for them to go to waste. I check the coupons for small print stating that you can not use them on trial products if it doesn't have that I check out that section in the store to see what I can get for a really good deal or alot of times for free. Also checking out the family dollar and dollar generals in the area is another good way of getting some great deals. You can't use coupons at dollar tree since they make items a certain count just to be sold there and they would have to give alot of stuff away for free with coupons. I usually make a list of what coupons I have that way I don't have to stand and flip through it. Don't forget about those cereal coupons. Walmart don't have many small boxes of cereal but Winn Dixie does and the coupon usually states buy 3 get $1 off and these boxes are priced at .50 cents each so you pay .50 cents for all 3 with coupon which isn't a bad deal when you have little ones that like snacks in the store these are good to have in your bag.

I found this tip on thriftyfun.com since we are dealing with asthma problems right now I may give this a try. Use plain white distilled vinegar and water, you can use this through the house and it gives you a clean smell. It controls the dust and mold. They have many helpful tips you may want to check out on everyday living.

My husband and my grandmother have always been true Saints fans. Wore their shirts proud even before Katrina when they made it to the playoffs. Watched every single game. They won this game for you mawmaw. Now for the first time in NFL history the New Orleans Saints are going to the superbowl. It was a very close game between new orleans and minnesota but after a game fighting neck to neck, bad calls by the refs and overtime. The Saints won the game. Can't wait to see what happens in the superbowl.

Today Katie had a hard time leaving to go to school. Not sure why. Same as always but when I dropped her off gave her a hug and kiss she started to cry while walking to the gate. Poor thing. I was going to call my aunt to ask her to walk her but my phone was dead. Thankfully the teachers assistant was walking in and I asked her to help out. My heartbreaks when she starts to cry. I am sure I will be one of those moms that cry for everything.

Katie doesn't have school today. I am happy about that. I have alot of clothes to catch up on b/c I didn't do any this weekend. Hubby made a really yummy gumbo last night. I could of eaten more it was so good but then I would of burst so I stopped. I swear I feel the baby move. If I lay on my back I feel little movements and I know its not gas. Its the same spot where they listened for the heartbeat. My mom done the ring test on the chain to see what I am having and it says a boy. She did the same to hubby's hand and it also said boy. I had a feeling it was a boy for a while now. This pregnancy is just different. I crave healthy foods, I break out, and the heartbeat was slow during the ultrasound. We shall see in 2 months. On with the good stuff.

Yep this is pretty much all I do is sleep. I try to sleep during the day while my oldest is in school that way when she gets home I can stay up until bedtime. She won't let you sleep no matter what. Tomorrow will be a busy day. Pickle and Popcorn day at school. It seems there are many lazy parents out there that don't want to help get anything done at the school. I think that is pretty sad. Katie came home with her first progress report yesterday. She had a lot of 3's on it but some 2's and 1's which made me start thinking of areas we need to work on during the summer and what kind of projects we will do. I would love to do things to teach them how they made things in the old days before all the technology was around. I also want to do things like make a map of our area which is pretty small, study water, leaves and do other fun things. The kids love that I do these things with them. They don't realize I am trying to jam pack their little brains with all sorts of things. My list will grow as summer nears and I am getting ready for it. Another good idea I seen someone use is a calendar to mark the days as you go along which will teach them writing, counting , and days of the week. They also use a weather graph which I think is pretty neat to make them stop and take a look at the weather outside. Once I make it I will have to take a picture. We also have the girls birthday parties during the summer and the baby will be here before we know it. Alot of things to get ready for.

Its cold outside. We will have to go out later today for gymnastics and dinner. We also promised Katie we would pick up a ds game for her which means her sister will also get one. Today started off with bringing my oldest to a pulmonolist. She has been having a cough for the past 4 months, since she started school. It gets much worse when she has a cold. We were told that she could have a bit of asthma. So now we are trying out an inhaler. Whatever helps her. Its horrible when she starts coughing and can't stop.
I forgot how much fun it was to do deals. I get a high off of getting good deals on things. At walgreens if you buy 8 dove products you get a $10RR. I found dove conditioner for $1.39 a bottle x8 = $11.12 - $10RR= $1.12/8= .14 cents each. Of course I did the finish dishwashing tabs deal $3.49- 2.50 MFQ from this weekends paper = .99 got back $1RR. Also did the Chips Ahoy cookies and if I would of thought about it I would of bought more. The 6oz packages are .99 cents each when you buy 2 you get back a $2 RR so that was free. Revlon Matte Eye Shadow was $4.99 - $2/1 MFQ - $3/1 in ad Q = Free. I love when they pay me to take things home. I also picked up on the aquafina cases of water they are on sale this week for $3.99 with in ad Q. Buy 4 cases get a $10RR so the math would be $23.96-$8 adQ = $15.96 - $10RR = $5.96/4=$1.49 each. Can't beat that for a case of water and name brand at that. I am very happy with what I got today.

Never a dull moment when you have kids. Last night my 2 year old decided she wanted a pickle and she was going to get it on her own. My 4 year old came to tell me this so I am running to the kitchen and right before I turned the corner. I heard the pickle jar crash on the floor. She now has 3 tiny cuts on her and Thank God that is all b/c the jar was in a million pieces.

Today my 4 year old is trying to tell me what she wants to eat for breakfast. She tells me its yellow, sqaure, crunchy and my aunt eats it at the parenting center. ??? I called my aunt to help me out. Honeycomb which we dont' have in our house. My doctors office calls me to tell me that my insurance will not process my claim until I call them and tell them that they are the only insurance that I have. Ok weird. So I call and just tell them everyones name on the policy and she says ok your good for 2 years. How crazy is that?

Yesterday I recieved in the mail a sample of kellogg's new pop tart flavor. Its Wild Grape and they have some pretty neat designs on the front of it. I pop tart flavor was pretty good. Better then the blueberry muffin one they sent to me. I don't buy kelloggs poptarts unless I find a really good deal on them. Walmart sells the big boxes of great value poptarts for pretty cheap. Nope no coupon in the box so unless great value puts it out we won't buy it.

Black Friday is this month and I am really excited about it. Last year I was only able to do one store and it wasn't as fun as it usually is. I love getting up really early and standing in the cold to get that rush of getting some good for little money. I usually get most of my shopping done that day. Tomorrow we will be going to a pumpkin patch that we visit every year. I used this site to find it a couple of years back. There are other farms you can visit through out the year.

They also have where you can go to Barnes & Noble dressed up in your halloween costume. Hear a story, trick or treating, crafts and meet a character. That is at 11am.

At Borders books bring the whole family to celebrate Halloween with fun games, spooky music, scary crafts and more! That is at 2pm.

At Lowe's get your child ready for Halloween with this awesome Frankenstring magic trick kit!
That is at 10am.

At Lafreniere Park Friday 5-8:30pm Saturday 3-8:30pm Sunday 2-7pm Park-A-Boo. Ages 12 and under. Dress in their costumes. There is a Boo house, Witch Way Maze, Treat Alley a costume contest, Zephyrs and Hornets mascots will be there. Its $5 for kids and $7 for adults and all proceeds go to Jefferson Chamber Foundation and the Kenner North Kiwanis club.

10/25/09 at Michaels 1pm-3pm use your hands to make a special Halloween t-shirt that is sure to spook. Just purchase the t-shirt of your choice and decorate it for FREE using our paint supplies!

OLD NAVY and their crazy exchange policy

A couple of weeks ago I went to old navy to purchase some school uniform pants. The only size they had left was a size 6. After getting home and trying them on they were a bit big. I could not find my receipt so I had to do an exchange. They still did not have the size 5 so they had to send me a merchandise certificate in the mail which took 7 days. At the time I made the exchange they had the pants online and the girl told me I would have to go to the store to use the merchandise certificate to place the order from their online store. Keep all your receipts from old navy before you get screwed like I am. Bad company policy. They don't even work with you to try and help you.

Today Katie has no school due to records day so we are chilling at home. Tonight we do have gymnastics and tomorrow I want to go order Katie's pants or hopefully they have some at old navy in her size. I went to walgreens yesterday and they did stock back up on the razors. Gillette MVP razors are $8.99 -$4 MFQ and you get back $6 in Register rewards so its a money maker. Yes this week was very busy. Monday was Katies field trip to the pumpkin patch. The kids had fun but it was very hot and very muddy. Two people got over heated so I am very glad I was able to go out there and make Katie drink more then she would of with another mom.

Tuesday our fundraiser came in so besides student of the week we wrote names and teachers on all the packets. Also made sucker ghost.

Wednesday I had a parent workshop to go to. It is very interesting and makes you think about what your doing and the way your doing it. Then we kicked off the fundraiser.

Thursday there was a sock hop to raise money for united way. It was for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. Some of the teachers even got out there. It was a very busy week so now I am just enjoying today. I will be posting so check it out.

Yesterday we took the girls to the circus and they enjoyed it. It was a bit pricey for everything. They got to ride an elephant which was $8 a person and Sammy got on there with them. Good thing the girls got in for free. Our tickets were $17 each b/c we got it upgraded which I am glad we did b/c we would of had to sit in bleachers and wouldn't of seen much. Today I will be busy cooking, cleaning and washing clothes. Tomorrow we are taking a field trip to a pumpkin patch. Tuesday is PTO day and we are kicking off a fundraiser, Wednesday I have a parenting class which is only an hour so it shouldn't be too bad, Thursday we are doing a sock hop and Friday will be gymnastics. This week is pretty busy. I will try and post as much as I can.

Walgreens Trip October 7, 2009

I have been so bad. I am so sorry. This upcoming week will be another busy one. I will try and do what I can to post. I actually went shopping Wednesday but also had to bring Sara to the Dr for her ear hurting. This was my shopping trip at walgreens with a picture.

The gloves were free after in ad coupon and $1.00 coupons I had. Soup was free with in ad coupons and internet coupons. The peanut butter and jelly was on sale for $2.00 each and I had a $.50 coupon off of each making them $1.50 which is a good deal. The halls are still $1 get $1 Register Reward. I also had a .50 coupon off of the halls so they paid me to take them home. The gum was $1.00 -.75 coupon each and I got back $2 total for them. The childrens motrin was $5.99 -$2. in ad coupon -$1 coupon I had. Only reason I got it was b/c we were out and I couldn't pass up that much off of it. The aquafresh was on sale .99 big tube. cottonelle is still .97 for the 4 roll which is still good for this type of paper but I can't for it to go lower. Then I ran into 2 carts that were 75% off. The little packets with the notebooks, easers and pencil regular $2 clearanced at .50 each. Then there were sticker packets with a little sticker book and stickers regular $2. marked down .50 each. Those will be part of my 12 days of Christmas I do for the girls. The 6 pack of toothbrushes which we needed anyway only .50 each. Freezie pops 24ct .50.
After all my coupons and my Register Rewards I paid $2.92. Got back $3 RR. Not a bad trip at all. I loved it and hope to have more times like it.

Today I am keeping Katie home from school. Her and I have some type of stomach virus. I just hope it will end with us but I am sure it will go around the whole family first.

I am on a search for girls knee socks. I think they will look really cute with Katies skorts for school and then when it gets colder outside then she can wear them under her pants without having to worry about pulling up stockings. Old navy is out and I'm not ordering any from online b/c shipping is too crazy. I did find some on amazon and used my gift cards from swagbucks to pay for them but for 2 pairs of socks with shipping it came out to be $13.00. I am also bidding on some on ebay. We will see how that goes.

Christmas is right around the corner and I need to start making my list and get the kids to make theirs. I know one thing Katie already wants. A puppy named Chip lol. I'm not too crazy about dogs and I'm still trying to potty train my kids like I really want to have to start potty training a dog right now. I don't think we are ready for a puppy just yet.

October already and its a rainy day. Which is kind of a good thing for us b/c our AC started freezing over again. I will have to call someone over to recharge it. This thing keeps doing it is what is getting on my nerves. Then to top it off I have been feeling weird. This week I was planning on eating better and exercising more but I have been very tired and when I wake up hungry. I'm not sure if maybe its just my body catching up on sleep and trying to get some energy from these things or what. I have been getting 7 hours of sleep at night and Wednesday I sleep on and off from 9am-1:00pm then yesterday I took a nap also. I hope I'm not getting sick.

Last night old navy reset really early. I want to say it was about 6:15. It happen pretty fast. They had $75/$100 which were gone in seconds but I finally got one for $50/$100. Bad thing is I already got Katie's pants another bad thing is I can't find the receipt. I was going to return them get the money back and buy the smaller ones that we really need but not sure how it would all work. We shall find out today. Gretna Heritage Festival is this weekend. Hubby wanted to go check it out on Sunday but its suppose to rain so not sure if we will go or not. We are just going for the food. Crab & Corn Bisque in bread bowl , Alligator Sausage, Pheasant / Quail Andouille Gumbo, Cracklings, Oyster on 1/2 Shell, Boiled Shrimp, Boiled Crabs so much yummy food. What will my kids pick? a hot dog.

Private Practice is coming on Thursday October 1. Its a spin off of grey's if you haven't seen it yet. It is a pretty good show and I can't wait to see what happens.

I still haven't watched greys anatomy from last week b/c my mom asked me to record it so I just thought I would wait but its calling my name.

There will be a kids workshop this Saturday at the Home Depot. They will build a Firehouse bank. You may even get some good coupons for the store.

What wonderful weather there was yesterday. It almost made me believe that it would stay that way for a couple of days until I woke up with a horrible headache due to allergies.

Tomorrow is Thursday don't forget to log on to old navy and have a chance to snag a coupon. If your lucky enough and fast enough to get one of the good ones good for you. Today both Katie and I had tummy aches. Shes starting to like school so much she still wanted to go. She wasn't running fever or throwing up so I let her. Tomorrow is PTO day so I wanted to post some of the things I was able to pick up today.

Theraflu was on sale for only $4 this whole month and with the coupons in the store for $2 off it make it a nice deal but if you buy 3 @12 -$6 coupon= $6 out of pocket and you will get back $8 in register rewards making it a really nice deal. I didn't find any of the sugar everyone else is talking about. I hoped I would of b/c I did notice sugar went up. I also picked up the Halls Refresh cough drops $1 got a $1 back. Cottonelle 4 pack of double rolls were clearanced to .97. Herbal Essences Conditioner b/c we seem to run out of conditioner faster then shampoo $2.99- $1 MFQ= $1.99 out of pocket got back $2. Robitussin DM to go 2 pack 2.49 got back 2.50. Gillette Fusion MVP Razor System $8.99- $4MFQ=$4.99 out of pocket got back $6 register rewards. 3 walgreens activity books for $1. Out of pocket $9.33 got back $19.50 in Register Rewards. Total savings $20.23. I say it was a pretty good day.
